We hope that you will join us for an informal and casual Farm Cycle Ride on Sunday, July 9!
Please RVSP by emailing co-hosts William Spangler at whspangler at gmail.com or Brett Webster at brett.w.webster at gmail.com
—————————————
A theme of this early summer ride will be native seed collection. Gold Ridge Resource Conservation District staff member, Will Spangler, will give a succinct overview of an effort underway to collect and amplify locally sourced native grass and wildflower seed for restoration projects to support pollinators, and we may make a few quick roadside stops to hand collect native seed from road shoulders.
Ride starts and ends at Green Valley Farm + Mill and will be on pavement. Please arrive at 9:00 am so we can roll out sharply at 9:30 am. We'll ride Green Valley Farm + Mill > Occidental > Monte Rio > Jenner > Coleman Valley > back. There will be an option for a group seeking a shorter ride by turning off at Monte Rio, riding back to Green Valley via Guerneville and Mays Canyon.
